Dave Appleman (1943- )

Born in Mansfield, Ohio, Dave Appleman came to Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC, to pursue his undergraduate and graduate degress in art. He has served on the art faculty there since 1968, being the chairman of the department from 1994-2007.

He has exhibited primarily across the Southeast, including the Hunter Museum in Chattanooga, Tenn.; Gibbes Museum, Charleston, SC; Pembrooke College, Pembrooke, NC; Columbia Museum, Columbia, SC.; Parthenon, Nashville, Tenn.; Mint Museum, Charlotte, NC; among others. His works are owned by public and private collections. He is listed in Who's Who in American Art, Who's Who in South and Southeast, Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities.
